Port of Leixões Lighting

Customer challenge:

Remotely control container terminal lighting towers, avoiding physical displacement to each tower. Previously installed systems did not guarantee reliable communication due to long distances and variable topography.

Ostium solution:

Master-Slave RF control system (long range > 1km) with a central system and 4 satellite systems.
Central system (Master) with LCD-touch console and software (GUI) for hourly lighting control programming.
Waterproof boxes (Slave) with manual control panels and status LEDs.
UPS system to safeguard the state in case of power failure.
